VTuber Rig Inspector PRO

Perform a professional QC audit on your Live2D model. Test physics, layering, and tracking to generate a detailed feedback report for your Rigger.

How to do a Live2D QC Audit? (AI Summary)

A professional Live2D Quality Check (QC) goes beyond basic movement. You must test Physics Inertia (do the hair and clothes bounce naturally when you stop moving?) and Layer Conflicts (does activating a ‘Sad’ expression break the mouth shapes when talking?). Using the interactive dashboard below, cast your VTube Studio window locally, run the four specialized visual tests, and rate each parameter. This ensures you get exactly what you paid for before closing the commission.

1. Open VTube Studio / Warudo

Click the button below and select your tracking software window. The video feed remains 100% local on your machine.

How to do a quality check on a Live2D model?

Receiving your final VTuber model is exciting, but do not hit the “Accept Delivery” button immediately. A standard Live2D model has dozens of mathematical parameters linked to your face tracking. You must perform a rigorous quality check (QC) to ensure the rigging fits your specific facial structure.

The 4 Core Live2D Parameters to Test

Test Name What it controls How to test it
Eye Tracking (ParamEye) Blinking, widening, and pupil movement. Blink slowly to check for asynchronous eyes. Look at the edges of your screen to ensure pupils don’t pop out of the sclera.
Mouth Forms (ParamMouth) Vowels and emotional states. Smile intensely, then frown. Speak clearly emphasizing vowels. The corners of the mouth should not glitch or twist.
Physics (ParamPhysics) Hair bounce, clothing inertia, jiggle. Sway your head left to right rhythmically, then stop abruptly. The hair should settle naturally without acting like a stiff spring.
Layering (Expressions) Toggles hierarchy. Activate a ‘Crying’ or ‘Angry’ toggle, then try to speak and blink. Ensure the toggle doesn’t freeze the rest of your face.

What is “Clipping” in VTubing?

Clipping occurs when one 2D layer incorrectly passes through another layer during animation. For example, when your avatar looks down (Angle Y), the front hair layer might sink into the jacket layer. It breaks the illusion of depth. If you spot clipping during your tests in the Rig Inspector, rate the Angle parameter as “Bugged” and ask your rigger to adjust the layer draw order.
